FAQ
What Is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural form of healing and pain relief that uses no drugs or surgery. As a science, it is based on the idea that good health depends, in part, on a normally-functioning nervous system.
Doctors of Chiropractic use their extensive training and knowledge of anatomy and bio mechanics (how the body moves) to treat their patients. Usually, this involves the manipulation (the doctor’s hands-on adjustment) of the spine or joints. Problems of the spine and joints can be caused by injury, muscle tension, bad posture or disease.
What Is A Chiropractic Neurologist?
A chiropractic neurologist is a chiropractor who has completed two years of additional training and study. The chiropractic neurologist must then complete testing by the board of chiropractic neurology. Upon satisfactory completion of this testing the chiropractor becomes a board certified chiropractic neurologist. Dr. Blomerth has been a board certified chiropractic neurologist since 1991 and was recently granted a fellowship by the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology.
